Welcome to Rotary University Southwest

Providing educational and training opportunities for our Rotary family .

Rotary University Southwest is a premier educational and training opportunity for Rotarians, their families and the community. The university's main focus is Rotary Information . It also serves as a wonderful compliment to other Rotary programs, such as Rotary International Leadership Institutes (RILI), the District Assemblies, President-Elect Training Seminars (PETS), District Foundation Seminars, District Membership Seminars, District Public Relations Seminars, Rotary Club New Member Orientations and the Rotary International Conventions.

Annual Program Schedules

Plans include two series per Rotary year; one in the fall and one in the spring. Each series of classes will be held in consecutive months (i.e. September-December).

The University Includes Four (4) Levels:

1: Level One : Rotary Basics: ( Basics ) [This level is open to Rotarians, their families and prospective members. Rotarians with less than three years of membership are first required to attend level one. Prospective members must be sponsored by a Rotary club. Basics may also be utilized for a club's new member orientation.]

2: Level Two : Rotary Club Operations: ( Club Ops )

3: Level Three : Rotary District Operations : ( District Ops )

4: Level Four: Rotary Advanced Studies: ( Global Ops)

** Graduation

Program Development

It is very exciting and rewarding to bring Rotary University Southwest to the forefront, as the concept was created several years ago and represents over a thousand hours in its development.

It is our plan to share as much Rotary Information as possible in this lecture series. We aim to inspire our students to “Know This!” information about Rotary. In doing so, we believe that they will have a deeper and more meaningful Rotary experience, become stronger and more knowledgeable leaders in the Rotary community and gain a keen awareness of the rich history of Rotary International and the programs, men and women who have helped make it the most influential and dynamic humanitarian organization in the world!
