Classes are held at:
Southern Methodist University

Classes are held in various buildings and rooms in order to accommodate the size and date of each class. This information will be provided before each scheduled class.

 

Parking

 

Parking permits fees are included with registration. Students must make arrangements to receive their individual parking passes for each course, in advance of the scheduled class day.
Classes are scheduled in a monthly series with fall and spring semesters.

Classes are generally scheduled on Saturdays from
8:00am – 5:00pm. (Lunch is not included.)
In order to graduate from Rotary University Southwest, attendance is mandatory for each of the four courses and attendance of the entire day of class (8:00am – 5:00pm).

 

Costs

 

Each of the courses cost $50. per person, per course, payable upon registration. This low fee, for each course, is designed to cover the costs of the facilities, study guide, course materials, insurance, parking and incidental expenses.

Payments are non-refundable though credit may be applied for unattended courses for up to one year, provided notice was given in writing and received before the scheduled course commenced. No refunds provided for cancellations due to weather conditions or issues out of our control; i.e. accessibility to scheduled classrooms.

 

Diplomas

 

Rotary University Southwest diplomas are earned upon completion of the four courses. Rotarians with less than three (3) years of service are first required to complete Level One – Rotary Basics (Basics).
In order to graduate from Rotary University Southwest, attendance is mandatory for each of the four courses and attendance of the entire day of class (8:00am – 5:00pm).

 

Admittance

 

Courses are open to all Rotarians, except for Level One, which is also open to Rotarian family members and prospective members. (Must be at least 18 years of age). Rotarians with less than three years of membership are first required to attend level one. Prospective members must be sponsored by a Rotary club.
